How can one trace the source of error messages when running Dynare? For example, i get:
??? Error using ==> dynare
syntax error at line 28
Which file does the line number refer to?
How can one trace it to the corresponding line in the .mod file?
(the mod file is quite long)

It is indeed the line number in the *.mod file. The problem may also be shortly before that.
