Problem with Matlab R2008a

Postby bigbigben » Mon Apr 07, 2008 3:26 pm

I am using Matlab R2008a, but it can't use gensylv.dll called by stoch_simul. Below is the error message:

Invalid MEX-file
'D:\acdemic\Research\Program\Library\Dynare_4\matlab\gensylv.dll':
The specified procedure could not be found

mex don'd parse this file.

I tried to use DependencyWalker, though I don't know what it is. Below is the message from it:

Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

What should I do then?

There is another post in the forum stating the same problem. Michel suggested to use Dynare V4 instead of V3, but here is the error message when I use Tortoise SVN

Error: Working copy 'E:\dynare_v4\mex\sources' locked
Error: Please execute the "Cleanup" command.

Now, it works fine. We should use version 4 and download the new source code for mex via svn service.
