Resource models

I'm new to Dynare and just installed to my computer. I would like to ask, if someone uses Dynare to solve resource models. So, I mean models without markets but with a social planner who decides due to his objective function about optimal resource extraction, facing a set of constraints regarding the state variables. So far, I solved my models in mathematica or with AMPL and would like therefore to know, if Dynare could be a helpful tool in this kind of problems.
