I got these warning each time I run matlab does this have any effect on Dynare output ?

Warning: Function C:\dynare\4.1.0\matlab\missing\ordeig\ordeig.m has the same
name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a
potential name conflict.
Warning: Function C:\dynare\4.1.0\matlab\missing\ordschur\ordschur.m has the
same name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a
potential name conflict.
Warning: Function C:\dynare\4.1.0\matlab\missing\rcond\rcond.m has the same
name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a
potential name conflict.
Thanks.

Hi, I guess you added dynare's matlab folder with all the subfolders... You should not, Dynare adds the subfolders if needed (this depends on your matlab/octave version). At matlab prompt, you just have to write:

Code: Select all
addpath PATH_TO_DYNARE\matlab

where PATH_TO_DYNARE is the location of your dynare directory (for instance c:\dynare\4.1.0 on windows, or /home/toto/dynare/4.1.0 on *nix). Note that matlab will not keep in memory the path to dynare if you quit, you have to (re)define the path each time you start a new matlab session.

Best,
Stéphane.

Duplicated data can create mess and remove the interest of the user. According to my point of view; DuplicateFileDeleter software is the best solution to avoid duplication on your site of disk. I am also using this software and it gives comprehensive results.
