"Runtime" message when preprocessing

Postby ctborao » Thu Mar 11, 2010 4:10 pm

Hi,
I am trying to run a Dynare code but I keep on getting this message:

Starting Dynare ...
Starting preprocessing of the model file ...
226 equation(s) found
Processing derivation ...
Processing Order 1... done

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

??? Error using ==> dynare at 96
DYNARE: preprocessing failed

It is the first time I encounter this problem when using Dynare. The number of variables in my code (226) does not look like something that Dynare cannot handle. Could anyone please help me with this?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Carlos.

Hi

This could be a bug in Dynare.

To help us debug it, please tell us which version of Dynare you are using (type "dynare_version" in MATLAB if you are unsure), and send me the MOD-file.

Hi Sébastien,
Thanks a lot for your message.
I was using version 4.0 of Dynare. I now switched to 4.1.0 and the problem has disappeared.
All the best,
Carlos.
