steady_state operator error message

Postby ian_db » Wed Apr 14, 2010 12:20 pm

Hi all,

When I include the STEADY_STATE operator in my mod file I get the following message:

"Processing outputs ...Steady State Operator not implemented for oCDynamicModel."

I'm using dynare 4.1.0 on windows 7 with matlab R2009a. The problem only seems to appear when I use the use_dll option. I need this because I need a third order approximation (looking at time-varying risk premia). Is this problem fixed in version 4.1.1? Is there some way around it?

Hi,

This is a current limitation of Dynare: the STEADY_STATE operator cannot be used in conjunction with USE_DLL option.

We will probably fix this in a future release.
