Compiling Dynare for Red Hat

Postby lombard » Wed Jan 11, 2012 5:59 pm

Hi,

I encountered this error in compiling Dynare from source (4.2.0)

../../../../dynare++/sylv/cc/SylvParams.cpp: In member function ‘mxArray* SylvParams::DoubleParamItem::createMatlabArray() const’:
../../../../dynare++/sylv/cc/SylvParams.cpp:136: error: ‘mxCreateScalarDouble’ was not declared in this scope
make[2]: *** [libdynare___a-SylvParams.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/stat-home/lombard/gianni/dynare-4.2.0/mex/build/matlab/libdynare++'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/stat-home/lombard/gianni/dynare-4.2.0/mex/build/matlab'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

the mex for qz seemed to have been produced. Compiling the sylvester solver has failed.

Any clue about the possible cause?

Thanks and best

Hi,

I've compiled version 4.2.4 on Red Hat without encountering the above mentioned problem.
