Steady State values

Postby Thomas_Coudert » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:27 pm

Hi,

I am trying to write my DSGE linear model. In order to do so, I linearize all my equations thank to the Taylor serie expansion around the steady state. Thence, I have in my linear equation the value of the steady state of some of my variables. My problem is to know how to signify to Dynare when I am using the steady state value of a variable and when I am using the "normal" variable.
Someone can help me?
Thank a lot.

Best way: compute the steady state by hand with pencil and paper and define the steady state values as parameters and the variables as variables.
