Tips on approaching a complex model

Postby pooza » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:30 pm

Hi all,

I have worked only with basic Dynare models before and am struggling to create a model for a more complex system, and would appreciate pointers anyone may be able to provide. I am trying to build a model similar to the one here (http://prasad.dyson.cornell.edu/doc/ITPaperRev.pdf) but do not know where to begin. How does one approach encoding this model into Dynare?

Thanks very much!

Ideally by starting from a simple version of the model and adding one feature at a time.
