Deterministic Simulation Error

Postby joe19830227 » Fri Jul 05, 2013 2:36 pm

Dear all,

I have developed an OLG model to explain the relationship between mortality rate (exogenous) and economic growth (endogenous). I started with the deterministic version, so all the mortality rates are deterministic. After specifying the initval and endval, "steady" can successfully calculate the steady states and BK condition holds. However, the command "simul" does not work and returns an error "??? Attempted to access x(0,1); index must be a positive integer or logical."

I checked the generated code by dynare, and I think there might be a problem with "it_". Could anyone help me on obtaining the deterministic simulation of this dynamic model? Much appreciated.

My code is attached.

This was a bug. It has been fixed in tomorrow's unstable version.
