Are there any plans to release dynare or dynare++ for android?

Not yet. Do you think there would be a sufficient user base? People don't usually use Matlab/Octave on their smartphones/tablets.

Thank you for the reply, Johanes. I travel a lot and would enjoy this option on the tablet. As Android is based on Linux and there is already Octave for Android, probably it would be implementable. Let's see...

We don't have the resources to compile for Android (Red Hat is the next platform that we're thinking of supporting). You are, however, welcome to compile Dynare for Android and share the compiled files with us for distribution on the Dynare site.
