Interpreting estimation output graphics

Postby lah89 » Mon Mar 24, 2014 5:48 pm

What exactly can I refer from an output like in the attached picture? What can be the sources of this error? Is it a problem with the interval boundaries of the prior ?

prior:
Code: Select all
gamma, normal_pdf, 1, 0.5;

initial value:
Code: Select all
gamma, 1;

thank you!

Without the mod-file it is hard to tell. The red points denote all cases where no unique stable solution could be obtained. Reasons can be that the Blanchard-Kahn conditions or the rank condition are violated or the steady state could not be computed.
