Error when running the example fs2000.mod file

Postby irinka » Fri May 16, 2014 11:42 am

Hi,

I am a beginner in using Dynare, version 4.4.2. I installed this version and tried to run the fs2000.mof file from the folder called "examples", to see what results I would obtain, taking into consideration the data stored in the file fsdat.m.
The information was taken from : http://www.dynare.org/documentation-and ... t/examples - F. Schorfheide (2000).

When I use the command dynare fs2000, the following errror appears on the screen:
>> dynare fs2000

Configuring Dynare ...
[mex] Generalized QZ.
[mex] Sylvester equation solution.
[mex] Kronecker products.
[mex] Sparse kronecker products.
[mex] Local state space iteration (second order).
[mex] Bytecode evaluation.
[mex] k-order perturbation solver.
[mex] k-order solution simulation.
[mex] Quasi Monte-Carlo sequence (Sobol).
[mex] Markov Switching SBVAR.

Starting Dynare (version 4.4.2).
Starting preprocessing of the model file ...
ERROR: Could not open file: fs2000.mod

Error using dynare (line 174)
DYNARE: preprocessing failed

Could you please help me with this error? I'm not sure how to solve this.
Thank you in advance!

Did you set the current folder to the folder where fs2000.mod is located?
