external functions - 3rd order approximation

Can you please tell me is there a plan to implement 3rd order approximations of external functions in the near future? Thank you.

There are plans, but they most probably won't be fulfilled in the near future as there are a lot of items with higher priority. See https://github.com/DynareTeam/dynare/issues/300 for the status.

Thank you for a quick reply. I perfectly understand your point about priorities. However, given the growing popularity of 3rd order approximations to DSGE model solutions I think that this option would be highly appreciated by the users (at least by some of us 
).
