A question on impulse response functions

Postby tokhir » Mon Feb 26, 2007 1:30 am

I'm running Dynare, version 3 for Matlab and have the following problem. Sometimes when a variable does not respond to a shock, its imulse response data is automatically erased (or not created) from the list of IRF data. Is there any way to make it create the variables anyway?

This would help me greatly because I'm running a code where dynare is part of a loop and the IRF results need to be pulled out after each iteration. Now every time it runs a simulation where one variable does not respond I get an error message (??? Reference to a cleared variable x_u).

many thanks, your help is much appreciated.

Dear Tokhir,

this problem has been fixed sometimes ago. Grab the last snapshot for version 3.

Kind regards
