Hello, I'm a new user of Dynare and have a problem to calculate the initval of any model. I do not understand how to do it .Is there any examples to help me please? also i would like to know how create my own file on matlab to calculate the steady state. If i use a model of 20 equations for exp it will be difficult to calculate the initval by hand?

See my Guide to Observation Equations on my homepage for advice on initval vs. steady state files. There you will also find an example for using a steady state file with the steady_state_model block.
