Sometimes the max operator is not enforced. How is that possible ? See for example this file. R shouldn't go below 0, but it happens that in some periods it does. I mean, it is virtually 0, but still I don't like it.

What do you mean? If you mean the -3.85185988877447e-34, this is about half the numerical computer precision. There is no way to avoid this.
