Dear Johannes Pfeifer,

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me with this issue.

As you recommended I am installing the unstable version of Dynare, but I have encountered some problems with this. I don't know if you could help me with this new situation. I am installing Dynare on my MAC (OS C 10.10.1) and after a long time of prcocessing I encounter this message:

==> ./configure --disable-silent-rules --prefix=/usr/local/Cellar/dynare/HEAD --
==> make install
case some other package contains this missing 'ctangle' program.
make[3]: *** [int_sequence.cpp] Error 127
make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

If reporting this issue please do so at (not Homebrew/homebrew):

I might add that my computer has Dynare 4.4.3 installed on it.

Thank you very much again for your help.

Kind regards,
German

Hi, please install MacTeX and ensure that it is in your path and then try installing dynare again.

Dear Johannes and Houtan,

Thank you for your replies.

I have installed MacTeX and the same problem still appears.
Regarding the path, is it the one that shows in this line?
==> ./configure --disable-silent-rules --prefix=/usr/local/Cellar/dynare/HEAD --

Because I saved MacTex at /usr/local/Cellar....I don't know if this is correct.

Should I try another option? I hope that I can work this out.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
German

You should have installed MacTeX to its default location
