Help with steady state

Postby Yad » Thu Aug 13, 2015 12:00 pm

Hi,
I am trying to solve the MX model from chapter 7 of SGU's Open Economy Macroeconomics. I am very new to Dynare and Macro modelling. I have written my .mod file for the model, but it seems that there is a bit of trouble with the steady state. I have uploaded my file here. Could someone please help me with the steady state?

Thanks in advance,

If you copy your Calibration section with your SS equations in an external file and try to run it you see that p_mss is NAN which yields further NANs. For example css is NAN and therefore your intialvalues are NAN, which is the error your mod file throws. Therefore make sure that all your steady state equations yield a number and check again.
