magnitude of shocks

I have two simple questions.
1. The magnitude of the shocks when using bayesian_irf is one standard deviation. It is possible to obtain responses to shocks with magnitude 1%?
2. The horizont of the shock decomposition is the same as the length of the sample used in estimation?

The graphs obtained from shock decomposition have a time horizon greater than the length of data series.
