MAPMOD

Postby wmmahrous » Sat Apr 26, 2014 10:23 am

Dear All,
I have found two working papers talking about a new DSGE model designed by IMF to analyse macroprudential policies and vulnerabilities of credit extensions...They call it MAPMOD.. I just want to know what MAPMOD stands for...I have searched thouroughly about this but it has been in vain...

Thanks in advance,
Walaa Mahrous

Thanks so much Dr Pfeifer ...I really appreciate your help :) ...but still I don't know whether MAPMOD is an acronym for something or just a name given to the model designed by IMF team.

I would guess it's an acronym, but for its meaning you would have to ask the IMF. They seem to simply use it as a name now.
