loop to compute and display the values of the objective func

Postby nk178 » Wed Aug 26, 2015 6:12 pm

Hi all,

I understand how we can use the macro-processor in mod files/or matlab files in order to add loops for several parameter values. However, I have noticed that for optimal policy problems, the result for the value of the objective function displayed is the one for the last value that the parameter (that we use the loop) takes.

Is any example available for adding loops to compute and display all the values of the objective function for several parameter immediately?

The answer depends on the type of optimal policy exercise you are trying to conduct. For discretionary_policy, you simply need to loop over stoch_simul.
