Hi,
this must have been asked already but I can't find it.
Is the _steadystate file treated differently in dynare_v4?
I've run my old .mod files (cum _steadystate companion file) and dynare complains about the accuracy of the steady state.
Where can I read about the use of steadystate files in version 4?
Thanks,
Gianni

Hi,
Let me reply to my own message.
The _steadystate file problems were due to a change in notation in Dynare 4 (e.g. lgy_ is now defunct).
Also I used to place the parameter values in a script file called from within the .mod file. Dynare 4 does not like this (or at least does not read it before assignin M_.params).
