Finding state and jumping variables in simulation

Postby learning » Thu Mar 01, 2007 12:56 pm

Hi,

in the workspace, I am aware that y_ gives the vector variables in the system. And eigenvalues_ gives the condition for stability of the system. But how do I know which eigenvalues is associated with which variable. Also, how do I find out which are the associated state variables in the system without finding it by hand?

Thanks in advance.

There is currently no tool to do that in Dynare. Remember that in a linear dynamic system, the variables are linked to eigenvalues thry eigenvectors.
The mapping eigenvalue variable is rarely a simple one.
