Ramsey policy in a perfect foresight model

Postby wmutschl » Fri May 29, 2015 9:21 am

Dear all,

I am working on fiscal policy rules in a large-scale model with perfect foresight. Now I have just seen that the new Dynare version 4.5 and the unstable version include the following new features
1) "ramsey_model that builds the expanded model with FOC conditions for the planner's problem but doesn't perform any computation. Usefull to compute Ramsey policy in a perfect foresight model."
Now, I was curious, if anybody has an example
2) New commands perfect_foresight_setup (for preparing the simulation) and perfect_foresight_solver (for computing it)

I was wondering if there is already documentation or - even better - an example that illustrates the use of these new commands?

Thanks a lot!
Willi
