maxit_ = ?

Postby derhee » Thu Jul 05, 2007 8:36 pm

Hello.
I want to increase the number of iteration to find steady state. If I put the command maxit_ = 500 before the command steady, does it mean that the number of iteration is 500? It seems to me that the number of iteration was not changed after the maxit_ change.

Please let me know.

Dear John,

unless your problem is very peculiar, I doubt that increasing the number of iterations for the nonlinear solver will help.
Unfortunately, this isn't an option that is made available to the user. Could you post your *.mod file or send it to me, please? I'm trying to collect difficult models to improve on the nonlinear solver.

Kind regards

Michel
