			Dear Dynare Users,
I have a technical question: what routines dynare use to solve the system of static nonlinear equations (deriving from the FOCs of the planner) to find the ramsey steady state?
Does it use the same methods listed for a simple steady state?
All my best
Nicola

In a Ramsey problem, the Lagrange multipliers can be expressed linearily from the other variables. So it is possible to reduce the size of the system to be solved. Then it is possible to use any algorithm available to solve for the steady state of a regular model
Best
