Postby lelos » Sun Apr 03, 2016 4:53 pm

Hello. Just a quick question. I have already downloaded and work with the stable version but i think i need to work the unstable as well. What should I download? the Windows snapshot (installer) or the Windows snapshot (.zip) ?? What is the difference ??

Many thanks

Just take the installer. It makes your life easier.

Dear Professor,

If I download the windows snapshot (zip) file and remov from the path the matlab file of the stable version, and add to path the matlab file of the unstable version, will that work? So can I switch anytime I like between the stable and unstable version by adding to path the corresponding matlab file each time??

Many thanks

The installer does not set a path. Therefore, it does not matter which version you download. But yes, by setting the path to the respective version on demand, you can handle different installed versions.
