Moran and Meh 2010

Postby allister » Thu May 19, 2016 7:45 pm

Dear users

I hope that this is not a stupid question to ask but I am running the codde for the Meh and Moran paper, after executing the code and i try to plot the graphs, I get the following errors
"Error using dynare (line 174)
DYNARE: preprocessing failed
Error in control (line 34)
dynare BankCapital noclearall
"

The code has not been adjsuted in any way and was downloaded from 'http://www.macromodelbase.com/download/'

I was wondering if anyone can assist with resolving this problem.

Dear Mr Pfeifer

See attached the files downloaded from http://www.macromodelbase.com/download/. I am currently using Dynare 4.4.3 on Matlab 2014. The problem which I am having is that every time I try to execute the plotting of graphs this error shows up,

"Error using dynare (line 174)
DYNARE: preprocessing failed
Error in control (line 34)
dynare BankCapital noclearall"

The problem arises when I try to execute the "control.m" matlab file which is responsible for plotting the graphs.

The steady_state file seems to be missing.
