hi

is it possible to tell dynare to store all the files it creates in a precise directory? or should it use the same one of the mod file?

sure, you can do it.
just enter the save command in the mod file and give the path.

Sorry for the question, perhaps it is very basic, how it works exactly the saveas command?, Can be used to save the irf or estimated parameters?.
