Postby ludafadejeva » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:10 pm

Hi!
Can please anyone explain what the error message actually means

Starting Dynare ...
Starting preprocessing of the model file ...
ERROR: housing.mod:41.0: syntax error, unexpected NAME, expecting ';'

??? Error using ==> dynare at 96
DYNARE: preprocessing failed

Thanks,
Luda

It means that in line 41 at column 0 a ";" is missing. That actually means you forgot to put a semicolon at the end of line 40.
